Did you know that you can receive a government grant to purchase textbooks and teaching guides for your school, supporting improved access to essential educational materials for both students and teachers? 

This government grant is intended for the purchase of textbooks and teacher guides. The purpose of the grant is to strengthen students’ access to textbooks and teachers’ access to teaching guides. 

The grant is to be used for the purchase of printed textbooks, with or without digital components, and teaching guides designed to work alongside educational materials to support planning and implementation of instruction. 

The grant is available to municipal, state, regional, and independent educational authorities for: 

• Preschool classes 
• Primary schools 
• Adapted primary schools 
• Special schools 
• Sami schools 

The grant should be used to purchase textbooks and teacher guides designed to work with educational materials to support planning and implementation of instruction. 

The grant only covers textbooks intended for teaching purposes. It cannot be used for the purchase of fiction, non-fiction, or books intended for the school library, as these are not covered by the grant. Instead, it may be possible to apply for the 2024 grant for purchasing literature.
