Brand-new digital literature anthologies
For our English teachers: We’d like to draw your attention to a new resource from Hodder Education: digital anthologies. These anthologies are geared toward grades 7-9. There are seven different anthologies that each provide an exciting range of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry within a particular theme. Each anthology is designed to complement the study of a full text and is supported by digital teaching & learning resources.
The best part? You can register for a 30-day free trial to review this resource for yourself and see if it might be a good fit for you and your students. Just send us a message if you’re interested and I’ll get your free trial started.
Each digital anthology is supported by teaching and learning resources, including quizzes, lesson plans, and PowerPoint slides to help you implement the content of the book. Click here for an overview.
Each anthology includes:
– Fiction, non-fiction, and poetry within the anthology’s theme
– A context panel to provide key information to set the scene
– Glossaries and annotations to help students work through each extract confidently
– Look closer: Key questions for students to consider as they work through the extracts
– Now try this: Writing and speaking activities to encourage students to get creative and actively engage with the text
