Workshop - Maximizing IB Diploma Success: Exploring Oxford Resources for IB and Kerboodle
When: Wednesday 2nd October, 14:00 - 15:30
Where: Witra showroom, Gamla stan
In this session, we will introduce the latest Science and Individuals & Societies resources for the IB Diploma Programme from Oxford University Press. This includes an overview of key titles like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS), Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS), and Global Politics. We will also explore the available support materials, such as Study Guides, IB Prepared Guides, and the Kerboodle platform.
Participants can expect a detailed walkthrough of the Kerboodle platform, highlighting its key functions such as content management, user management, assignable resources, and marking and reporting features. The session will also include a live demonstration and a Q&A segment.
Aimed at IB DP teachers of Science, Business Management, Global Politics, ESS and Sports, Exercise & Health Science, this workshop will be conducted by Pilar Garcia Hernandez, Northern and Western Europe School Relationship Manager at Oxford University Press.

Workshop - Breaking Down Barriers to Reading with Barrington Stoke

For some students, reading is a challenge. Whether they’re reluctant to read for pleasure or struggle to read due to dyslexia, visual difficulty or language barriers, every student’s reading journey differs. So how can you inspire a love of reading in every child in your classroom?
Join us as we navigate through techniques for you to identify, encourage and enable both struggling and reluctant students to love reading, through the power of a good story and accessibility in books.
The workshop will be conducted by Jenny Sherman, Senior International Sales Representative at Collins.

Workshop on International Primary Science

This one-hour free of charge workshop considers the importance of a STEAM culture in primary education before delving into how STEAM strategies can be applied in good science teaching. This will delivered through the lens of our brand-new Pearson International Primary Science (PIPS).

We've been invited to host a book fair at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Sundbyberg. Not only is it a great opportunity for the kids and parents to purchase English literature at great prices, but part of the proceeds will also go towards the library, allowing them to acquire new books. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved!
