Science workshops at our showroom
We were pleased to organise and host three workshops for science teachers on 3 and 4 May. Karen Collins from Oxford University Press presented three sessions, entitled “Empowering Scientific Capital,” “Building Language Strategies for Science: Primary,” and “Building Language Strategies for Science: Secondary.” Science teachers left with practical ideas to implement into their teaching practice. Several teachers also remarked that it was a great opportunity to network with educators at other schools.
We enjoyed connecting with the participating teachers, representing 18 schools in our region, and we look forward to hosting another series of workshops again soon. If you have a suggestion for a workshop topic or would like to pay us a visit, just send us an email. We’d love to welcome you!
