Free online training sessions for International GCSE English as a Second Language

Our publishing partner, Pearson Education has recently launched their new and improved Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (9-1) for English as a Second Language qualification (2023) and have two forthcoming training sessions:

Pearson Edexcel International GCSE English as a Second Language: Welcome to Pearson (Module 1) 7th September 2023, 09:00-11:00 CET

This module focuses on teaching the course and will give you an understanding of the content of the qualification and how to cover it, course/lesson planning, understanding the assessment and preparing students for it, and a brief overview of support from Pearson available to teachers.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSE English as a Second Language: Welcome to Pearson (Module 2) 11th September 2023, 09:00-11:00 CET

This module will give you an understanding of how the content is assessed by reviewing the assessment objectives and mark schemes, practise applying the mark schemes using exemplar student work, as well as an understanding of how marks were determined.
